Drag Queen #

I was excited from the moment we decided to guide a drag perform as this has never been an act most of our audience had never seen. He kept in contact with us from booking to the day of the event. He kept in touch with the DJ on the day aswell as I was too busy to answer. I walked into to convene him, and OH MY GOD !!! First impressions signify everything don't they and I couldn't help but snicker. He was such a pleasant person well that's before he put on a show !! His show was constant with costume changes. I contain never laughed so much in all my life ! The audience loved him and there was lots of audience participation. His costumes were incredible and his changes were quick ! Whilst he changed him and the DJ worried together. Our DJ absolutely loved him as well. We couldn't have picked a better act still to this time people are asking me where we got him. I believe after his performance on Sunday 3rd of May there may be a few bookings.
A fabulous afternoon was had by all at Westerfield Care Centre on the 03/09/ She entered in design and entertained the resident

A little LGBTQIA+ railway history

Ashlynn Welburn explores the intertwined histories of the LGBTQIA+ community and the railways.

Told often as a history of technologies and engineering, the story of our railways is a deeply human story. Every growth has been human-led, driven by human needs and desires, and the effects of every development acquire been wide-reaching in shaping the lives and experiences of people across all walks of life and society. Built to provide society, the railways in turn became one of the key influences shaping societies and their communities.

The history of the LGBTQIA+ community is, like so many others, one that is heavily entwined with the story of our railways. Earlier this year I began researching this relationship and establishing partnerships to help us delve deeper into this history. As a large inter-sectional community, not only were LGBTQIA+ individuals involved in establishing and building the industry at all levels, but the railways played many fundamental roles in LGBTQIA+ lives.

Rik Wolters is TOO GAY!

I know, it's hardly news to some of us, but Rik Wolters is apparently 'too gay' for some comedy clubs, but definitely not for the Edinburgh Fringe, where Rik will return once again with another show full of laughs, shocks and far too much over-sharing.
