Now here he was at the O2, seated among the commoners, with an opportunity to help bring the Genesis story full-circle. Instead, he took the unselfish (if, let’s face it, slightly unsatisfying) route: avoiding the spotlight and letting his former bandmates enjoy the curtain phone they’d rightly earned. (“Me going was a rite of channel, really,” the singer told Mojo in “I’d been part of the creation of Genesis, so I wanted to be there at the end.”)
Here’s the thing, though: A lot of casual fans forget that Gabriel had already reunited with Genesis for an entire show—it just happened 20 years earlier. Oh, and it occurred not because of rosy nostalgia but due to mounting debt and death threats.
Gabriel staged the inaugural WOMAD (World of Music, Arts, and Dance) in July , with the noble vision of sparking truthful cultural fusion. The three-day event featured British post-punk (Echo and the Bunnymen, Pigbag) and art-rock (Peter Hammill, Robert Fripp), traditional Irish folk (The

In , Mark Hamill was interviewed by Britain’s The Sun newspaper (don't worry, the link is for Vanity Fair) and suggested that Luke Skywalker was perhaps not as unbent as an arrow. He said:
“Fans are writing and question all these questions, ‘I’m bullied in school… I’m terrified to come out’. According to Disney, the answer is now yes. Due to a canon story that was published, "Luke on the Vivid Side," where Luke gets sexual feelings for another dude. And he's been added to the LGBTQ category on Wookiepedia now.

Come to think of it, they weirdly made it a point in the sequel trilogy to not illustrate any evidence of Luke in any kind of romantic relationship for the 35 years between the trilogies. Has this been planned all along? i.e., as something to circle back on and accomplish this?
IIRC Hamil has stated many times that he loved how Luke had a family and married Mara Jade in the books and always hoped to do some of that on film.
But now I'm % certain he will do a on that and hug this and be all for it.

(…) I posted some of the art that´s been sent to me over many many years. There was a lot of art that came out during first game and was sent to me, you know, some of it was of a homoerotic nature, wich it is fine if people want to send me that absoluteyly no difficulty at all. But then i had all these homophobes in the comments, not many i must say, but a not many of them and i was like, guys, flourish up, just grow up man, like come on, be serious, are you really like being weirded out by gays?, it is , like chill the () up, all right, love is passion (). I found that quite amusing. ()
