By now, most people know that Steamer Quay is under novel ownership. Despite anticipating a slump for the summer, so far we have been proved erroneous and footfall remains high, with Thursdays and Sundays going from strength to strength and our monthly CumUnion party being very well supported.
Latest Changes
Torbay Council has now inspected our kitchen, processes and hot tub and we have been awarded a 5 star hygiene rating, which we are delighted with. The cafe area is complete. The smoking area has been smartened up.
Next Plans
Now that we hold our food hygiene certificate, we now have no excuse not to offer food, so we will shortly be commencing a basic meal menu with offerings such as lasagne, chilli, panini's etc. We still have some tweaking to do on the new play floor with the lighting and curtains and we have a dry-rot problem in the toilet area that is going to be a fairly major project to sort out. The next project we will tackle will be to renovate the dungeon. Once all of this is done, we will move

Espa Being at Corinthia
The luxury Corinthia hotel group opened their flagship London hotel a few years back to great fanfare, and it has continued to entice A list Hollywood celebs and the great and the good ever since. The spa also has much going for it including thermal jet pools, an amphitheatre sauna, heated fireside beds, sleep pods and a nine metre swimming pool. It has also become somewhat of a fave spot to visiting American celebs.
