The Official 47th Annual Houston Pride Celebration® Festival + Parade is produced by Pride Houston® and will take place on Saturday, June 28, in Downtown Houston at City Hall.

Festival General Admission is FREE for ages under 21 and seniors 55+. Ages Festival General Admission will cost $5 for advance online tickets and $10 at the gate.

Pride Houston parade lights up downtown, celebrating love, unity, and resilience

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Self-acceptance Houston added another chapter to its legacy with the 47th annual parade in downtown Houston.

The celebration is known to tug thousands all in the identify of recognizing love and oneness, and this year was no different.

The organization said that while it's still finalizing numbers, prior estimates put attendance at over , people.

On Saturday, the celebration once again started near Urban area Hall and moved through the area with a colorful demonstrate of floats, performers, and collective groups.

ABC13, the official media companion of Pride Houston , also joined the festivities with a contingent of walkers along the route.

Considered one of the largest Pride events in the South, the parade is far from the only way the LGBTQIA+ community and allies celebrate.

Events surrounding the parade usually include a festival, which focuses on providing community resources, plus a fashion show and reception.

With promises to present Pride like never before Houston&#x;s New Faces of Pride is looking forward to their inaugural celebrations. Featuring indoor and outdoor activities, the celebration will take over Fish Plaza at Wortham Theater Center. The parade will thrust off at p.m. on Bagby St. at outbound Allen Parkway, and stretch 15 blocks downtown for all to come out and enjoy once the sun begins to set.
