Noosa Heads

About occupants :

I’m Jess, I’m 35 and I live independently but with a physical disability. I get around the residence with a walker and have a chair and scooter set up to enjoy my daily adventures with my dog. I have a team of support workers who aid me manage my day-to-day, like meals and chores. I have a cleaner who comes by fortnightly as my contribution to deep cleaning. My assist workers are all independent and fun - no stuffy nursing environment here! We’re a very inappropriate bunch who are always cracking bad jokes.

Due to the nature of my disability, I’m not a big fan of using my voice however that means I am super quiet and an exceptional listener who can always be there for you on rough days, without interrupting or having ‘helpful suggestions’. My dog’s identify is Cal, he is a kelpie cross who looks like a Dingo. He is a warm guy and loves hanging out.

I spend my second at home painting and drawing, chilling to song, playing chess, or watching Netflix. If I’m not at home, I’ll be outside at the pup park, enjoying nature or volunteering at the op shop
