Gay restaurant paris

Paris is a European capital for all things homosexual and fabulous, from extravagant local personalities to a neighborhood teeming with addresses for a night of cavorting. The Marais, centrally-located just north of the Hôtel de Ville and south of the Place de la République, is the epicentre for nightlife catering to boys and men of all walks, but it’s just the beginning. Starting an evening in or around the Marais is the leading way to find out from the locals what’s going on in other gay bars around town. Whether you’re looking to share casual drinks, twist until dawn, or acquire a brush with a local Parisian, there’s amusement to be had any night of the week.

Romantic restaurant in a queer woman couple?

Romantic restaurant in a lesbian couple?

I have been to Paris numerous times, but always solo. This time my girlfriend and I will be going in february. While I know that most of Western Europe is fairly gay kind, would we fair successfully in a romantic restaurant in Paris? I "pass" for straight while my girlfriend, well, looks same-sex attracted, if that makes any difference. It's not appreciate we'd be making out in the restaurant, but this is her first trip to Europe and I want to construct sure she feels comfortable.

Any recommendations on a restaurant? We're both fairly adventerous eaters, but the restaurant doesn't have to be super fancy. Just something fairly quiet and cozy where we can enjoy a meal and our time together. We plan on having most of our meals at cafes etc, but would like to have one "nice" meal while there.

thanks!

"Nous les restaurateurs" Christophe Moulin’s strike is still relevant. In the s, he created the Gai Moulin restaurant on St Merri Street, a miniature local canteen where you can ingest well at a very reasonable price, and where cheerful customers flock to meet from noon to evening. Christophe takes to the piano and composes his own satirical songs about Parisian life and the gay district of the Marais. He mocks the quality of hospitality, the frozen cuisine, the unbearable customers with a caustic humour. Le Gai Moulin has now closed and Christophe Moulin has left Paris. There remains the memory of this song so comical, emblematic of an entire era. Obey and sing in your hearts: "We restaurateurs get up early…"
