Syros

Syros, one of the smallest islands of Cyclades, is the crossroad for Greek tradition and western influence. Ermoupoli (meaning “the capital of Hermes”) is the island’s capital town and has been the first important trade and industrial centre of the region in the 19th century. Although Syros belongs to the Cyclades islands, its architecture is more Medieval than Cycladic.

Ermoupoli, distinguishes for the elegant Venetian mansions, the picturesque quarter of Vaporia, the large churches and the commanding Neoclassical buildings, such as the Town Hall and Apollo Theatre in the central square. The Apollo Theatre is a mini copy of La Scala in Milan. The town also has very interesting churches, for example Agios Demetrius, Treis Hierarches and Ag Nikolas. There is also an archaeological museum as successfully as an interesting library. You should also try to obtain to Ano Syros, a petty village in medieval style. Here you can visit the Catholic Cathedral of St George and the monasteries of the Jesuits and Capucins from the 18th and 17th century respectively a little further away.

He just sort of shut down his emotional center and became indifferent, while she just cried for a not many weeks and then continued her life, which was pretty full even before they got together. She never forgave him for proposing and then chickening out, for making her fall in love with him and then turnin
