Out And Proud! Bridgerton’s Jessica Madsen Comes Out In A Self-acceptance Post
The actor, who plays Cressida Cowper in all three seasons of Bridgerton, took to Instagram on June 2 to celebrate her gay identity and the commencement of LGBTQ+ visibility month. "In love with a woman, loud about it and proud about it!" she said beneath the post, which included a deluge of art supporting the LGBTQ+ community. "#Pride #PrideMonth #LoveIsLove #GayPride," the hashtags read.
Her carousel also featured a video of herself sporting rainbow facial jewels and a bucket hat that said "LOVE SUPREME".

Jessica Madsen's Bridgerton co-stars, including out gay actor Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton) and season three actors Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington) and Hannah Dodd (Francesca Bridgerton), flocked to the comments section to express their support for the star's public coming out.
